My name is Karen Tonks and I am the owner and founder of Time Genies. I am from Scotland, where I spent the first 34 years of my life before heading across the pond to North Carolina. My idea to start a small business came out of my passion for serving and helping others and a desire to give back to my community, and I love getting to work with this incredible team!
My name is Suzanne Cunningham and I have been serving as the office manager for Time Genies since Fall of 2016. I recently moved to Hickory from Cullowhee, North Carolina. In addition to helping Karen manage the business, I serve as a home cleaner and organizer, home decorator, errand runner, and administrative worker for our clients. My favorite thing about Time Genies is the great diversity. My motto outside of work is "great family, friends, and food!"
Hi, I’m Jessica Duran and I am from all the way on the West coast in Lake Elsinore, California. I have been a part of Time Genies since 2014 doing everything from home cleaning, staging, decorating, pet sitting, and personal errands for our clients. I enjoy being a part of the team because I love meeting new people and finding ways to help them using my skills. When I’m not working, I like hiking and sightseeing in North Carolina.
My name is Barb Thompson and I recently moved to Catawba County last year from Ohio. Since then I have been a team member of Time Genies doing housekeeping and organization for our clients. The best thing about being a Time Genie is having flexible work hours. Outside of work, I love camping, trips to the mountains, crafts, and spending time with my husband and family.
Hi, my name is Laura Dunlap. My husband and I are the proud parents of two wonderful boys! I graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University majoring in Psychology and Human Community Service. I worked for DSS and Child Services before deciding to come to work for Time Genies. I know how important it is for me to be organized and keep the clutter out of my life. I love doing the same for others. I am the Head Organizer for Time Genies.

Hi, I'm Wesley Dial and I am from Hickory, North
Carolina. I have been a part of Time Genies for almost a year and I do everything from home organization and decluttering to pet sitting to personal errands and moving services. Whatever your need is, I am up for the job! My favorite thing about my job is the wonderful clients who put their trust in us. I enjoy providing professional executive services and making clients the number one priority. I also have a soft spot for pets and love spending my free time hiking, kayaking, traveling to Florida, and spending time with family and friends.
My name is Diana Bricker. I am from Pennsylvania and I have been a Time Genies team member since 2015. I serve as a housekeeper, cleaner, and pet sitter. My favorite thing about being a part of Time Genies is having wonderful co-workers. When I’m not on the job, you can find me perusing flea markets and consignment shops.
I am Samantha Metz and I am a local North Carolinian from Newton. I have been serving as a housekeeper and cleaner with Time Genies for almost a year. I really enjoy what I do because it allows me to work flexible hours and work with and for a variety of people in different places. My interests outside of work include the spiritual, physical, and emotional realms of home and health.
