Being stranded in the Caymen Islands for a month due to issues with travel documents wasn't exactly Karen's plan for her vacation. However, she was fortunate enough to have a generous host that allowed her to stay the extra time, and earned her keep taking care of the burdensome household chores so that her host family could spend more time together. What started out as a neccessity during an unplanned extended stay budded into a business idea that Karen kept with her when she returned home, and that was how Time Genies came to be.

My name is Karen and I'm the founder and owner of Time Genies. I set up this company because I wanted to work hours around my family's schedule and not work my family around my work
schedule. I love to meet people and make new friends and I also get a lot of pleasure making people happy so this type of business is perfect for me.
I grew up in Scotland and after living there for 34 years, I moved over the "Pond" to this wonderful part of the USA. I have a Diploma in Production and Inventory Management, I spent many years in the manufacturing industry in a scheduling, planning and forecasting capacity and I had a very successful working background in Customer Service. I have great organizational skills and I am a stickler for attention to detail.
